Glendale WINS!

Well it is homecoming night and Glendale wins against Parkview in a really close game 35 to 34. Now we are in KC this Friday playing KC East High School. Here are some pictures of Homecoming.

Birthday

Well today would have been my mothers 76th birthday. Every year at this time I always get sad and for a really long time I could not figure out why. Till one day I stopped and thought today is my mothers birthday. Now I know why I would always feel the emptiness inside that I was missing something. It was her. She was a beautiful woman dark hair dark eyes and very mysterious. I love my mother very much and not a day goes by that I do not think of her. So for those of you who still have your mothers STOP and go love all over them and never let go for someday you will not have them and you can think back to when you just hugged all over them just cause you love them.

Football Friday 25, 2009

Well yes another game Josh was sick yesterday and did not get to go to practice but he is good today. He got a phone call from one of his bud's letting him know that the coach took him of his starting position and gave it to a sophomore who weighs all of 125 lbs. Also he has move alot of Seniors and Juniors down to JV. Josh thinks he might be next. But he says that is ok he would much rather play for fun. I don't really understand what this man is thinking. You give the kid an award at the beginning year for being the fastest kid on the team block tackles and bust his butt all summer but his not happy unless he can break his spirit to. I will never forget Josh missed practice when his great-grandmother past away. Josh called left a msg on the coaches phone to let him know that he would not make it to practice because of the death. So when Josh came back to practice what did he get. He got to do extra conditioning after practice. This coach says family first. I am not sure about that. On the other hand Justin is liking college he is having to go to court cases for one of his classes he finds them amusing.

20 Years

Well back to work and to the kids. Huck and I were blessed by going to Chicago for our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time. We took the Amtrak train from St. Louis to Chicago. We road a double decker bus and toured Chicago for 3 days it was wonderful we could hop on and hop off at any of there stops and walk around then hop right back on. We were brave one day and took the L down to Chinatown had a blast. We also took a dinner cruise on the 18th it had dancing and fireworks at night. On Sunday we took the train back to St. Louis and we were upgraded to a bedroom compartment had our own bathroom and sink it was wonderful. When we finally got home it was midnight and we were dog tired. But we came home to a clean house and loving and wonderful boys. They actually missed us. It was good to be home. As for me back to work as for Huck off to N.C. his work missed him alot. This Friday we play Waynesville.

Hummmmmm

Well what a game Friday night! Words can not describe what those boys must have felt. Finally score Camdenton 51, yes I said 51 and Glendale 13.
I could go into alot of rambling but I am not going to I will just leave with 2 words

Well lets talk about Football

We we all know that this is my favorite sport EVER! So tonight we have the pleasure of going to Camdenton. Now this ought to be an interesting game. I will try to post soon on what happens. Oh yeah just thought I would let everyone know that our coach has taken Josh off of offence and put him on defence only. What a bright move the fastest kid on the team and we pull him off of running back and move him to a lineman all 150lb of him........

Bad Football

Well here it is Tuesday, 4 days after a game and still depressed about it. We were slaughtered!!!! Hummmmmm slaughtered may not be the word. Pounded, Slapped, Thrown down, Kicked around and Murdered. Yeah that's more like it. Glendale,(zero) 0, Rolla 35, 37 I don't know something like that. Now anyone looking for a job may want to come to Springfield and apply for a job as a Glendale football coach. If the parents don't fire him then maybe the kids will.
